still think we could get a good two year out him.not just better but a lot better than what we already have.

always think maloney wa sunderated here qaulity player think this would be a brilliant signing.and a great short term option on the left.

his injury problems worry me the most though.

Shaunaldinho :50: only drawback of course is his fitness problems, he has only had one injury free season since he went to Wigan.

Is there not plans within UEFA to increase the amount of home grown players in clubs squads?
If that is the case then Celtic could do a * of a lot worse than Maloney.
I know, he was born in malyasia but is a Scottish Internationalist.

My only concern would be his injurys as he seems to be out for half a season to every full one he plays

Why not, could be good around the dressing room for the younger players like McGregor to learn from. And we need someone who can play on the left so no harm in offering him a two year contract.

Better than GMS anyway even with the age difference.

Are we not having a problem atm with Commons over his contract due to his age and the years he wants on his contract? Yet we're linked with Maloney?

For the life of me. I can't see why any Celtic fan would want him back. He is worse that big Derk for injuries

I'd love Maloney back at the club. He came back a better player fromo Villa but unfortunately didn't cut it a while later. That was 4/5 year ago though.

    Come on Wee Shauny bhoy.

Better than what we have in a 4 2 3 1 formation , has tons of ability and has got better imo . Could be a great addition for the second half of the season , as we go after the treble . Bring him home , Get Kris and Guidetti signed up , keep Van Dijk and get Denayer and Lustig back fit and i swear to * we will win the World Cup.

Absolute no brainer the more i think about it . would be a bit of a coup , he has a very good reputation in England and is widely considered Scotland's best player .

He'd be on a good wage at Wigan though, and linked back to the Premier League. I'm not against signing him, but I don't see us paying big wages to a guy in his mid 30s who is very injury prone.
