I've only ever used IE but I think some people get carried away with firefox. They say its much better but I've never noticed it the few times I've used it.
They remind me of mac users. -

To the standard user with a standard install you can get used to any of them and not notice a difference. MF and Opera are quite customisable and that's when you really start to see the difference. I'm A MF user and it's extensions really make browsing the web much less annoying. Adblocking in partictular. They all copy each others features though so if there's something original with one out of the three, chances are it will be incorporated in the other two by the next release.

IE is a security risk, proven fact. Get Opera or Firefox, much more secure and customizable -
I love FF now too much to let it go, but I used to be like that with Opera, then we had a fall out over something trivial. Tried Chrome and Safari, they're both ugly and don't meet my needs by a long way. I have to use IE unfortunately for things like Channel 4 catchup because some things are only available on IE, otherwise I wouldn't touch it, it's pish.

Chrome is the *, neat, tidy and great to use, by far the best and most modern browser. I can't access my windows live hotmail e-mails through chrome but if its a choice between Hotmail or Chrome then Chrome wins hands down
-
For those who still use IE, ask most people on the net and they would implore you to get the * off it and use something else, be it FF, Opera, Chrome etc, ANYTHING but IE.
Firefox w/ Adblock Plus & NoScript = Win. -

I use FF but IE is still on my computer, should I uninstall it or will that just * it up?

I used to love FF and still use it at work but prefer Google Chrome now, although there's no add ons as such I just love the layout.
Problem is I can't get it to work with Vista which is a bit of a *! -

IE should only be used for Windows Update as it needs ActiveX protocol to access your PC. ActiveX is the main cause of the vulnerability in this web browser. :56: -
