    exactly. only in brittish, or even more so in scottish football, do you have punters whipping out the big book of cliches and crying for "bite and grit" when quality would be far better.

    theres plenty of bite and grit in the spl and its still *.

    imo we have leaders on the park and a strong spine to the team.

    theres no doubt were in a bit of a sticky patch but when we get our key players back to full fitness i honestly think well find our feet again. :50:

    when we were signing "home grown" talent under strachan we got scott mcdonald, willo flood, paul hartley, steven pressley, ben hutchinson.

    the club are only prepared to pay for young foreign players with sell on potential....the rest will be freebies

    the policy hasn't changed since strachans time

    im talking about ..young scottish talent ..not established players in there respective teams , beside,s ..mcdonald done a job as did robson..as did hartly.....there,s a few players kicking around the spl id take a second look at....

    they did a job but the team was playing * football...they were ok but not great....

    forrest is the best young scottish talent

    young talent comes through the youth system....

    we still need to win the league and sign decent players

    Agreed, quality is what is needed. You can have all the grit and determination in the world. If the players are not good enough, they're not good enough.
