    Judging by pre season and our game against Hibs our midfield lacks a playmaker of some sort, someone who can pick passes in advanced positions, a CAM perhaps. Ki is good but he operates deep we need someone advanced who can see a pass, perhaps shoot and dribble well, since Naka left we havent had someone to take over imo

    I think this proves how much we miss Commons when he's not on. I really hope he stays injury free this season.

    We do need more creativity up front too though.

    commons, ledley and ki all offer creativity. the last thing we need is another CM.

    ki's started to get forward more. he's becoming a more complete player compared to what he was when he first arrived at the club :)

    I think we have creativity in commons and maloney but need someone who can play that defense spliting ball thought we might have consider eremnko (fin that was at kilmarnock) thought he looked good last season and wouldnt cost much

    If we add a creative player to our midfield now we would lose alot of possession cos we seen what happened last season when we tried to play with 2 wingers in the side

    A creative player doesnt need to be a CM, maloney and commons, are well off form atm and a waste of a position currently, be nice to get one very fast, dribbler in who can play right and left, when i say fast, i mean has genuine pace, something we dont have

    would love to have a couple of am/ss type players!!! :drool:
    you know the ones that can play all over the midfield area but really shine just behind the striker, where they can play that defence spliiting pass

    i know we cant afford the inniesta's schneiders or even the macedonian inter played yesterday but i'd love to see us play with a player of that type that could spring hooper with through balls

    i think KI could play these passes but thats not really his game and he's not quick or agile enough for it

    maybe commons as an in the hole AM but can he play the little ouside of the foot defence splitting passes ? consistently ? can any of our players ?

    nakamura is the only player we've ever had in recent times of genuine class that could play there but strachan stuck him wide right all the * time

    that really * me off

    commons well off form at the moment? we are one game into the season and he didnt even start for * sake. just you sit down and keep quiet.
