point is strachans tactics and and a bit of bad luck cost us 3 valuable champions league points, mc geady is unquestionably celtics best player and the main reason he has been dropped is because he is struggling to hit top form because of the lack of decent signings WGS has brought in. no decent left full is affecting his game because he seems to be getting dragged back because of naylor and companies inability to defend properly ,not to mention the lack of service , that been said he still gives his fair share of decent crosses and contribution to any game.

p.s. D4 is the place to be, looking forward to the new stadium!!!!!!!!

So are you comparing Naka to Maradona? What is your point?

I prefer to deal in reality not hypothetical questions that can never be proved.Lets get back to your original statement -"Naka should always play,he's always so creative"No argument about his abilities, but for a large part of last season he was absolutely gash.Should he have been picked automatically?of course he shouldnt.

McGeady hasnt played well this season so far,and probably deserves a rest.I just dont understand how you can adopt different standards with McGeady and Nakamura.Naka is no Maradona, and to suggest he is "undroppable"is nonsense IMO.

Mutt's man-love for Boruc and Naka, and his dislike for McGeady and Skippy, knows no bounds.

I'd take his comments with a pinch of salt.

To be fair he spent most of last year injured and was subbed a lot.
Anyway, agreed... and as soon as McGeady is done taking a rest on the bench I think Nakas' due for a turn there as well lately.

The point is all of those players' form could be best described as 'indifferent' whereas Aiden is our one and only (outfield) generally class player and carried the team on his back for large spells last season.

Yeah he had a bad old firm game but who didn't?

To drop the guy defies belief and when Strachan is questioned about it we get the usual smart * answers.

Fair points.Nobody is doubting Naka's ability,my point is we dont have a stick on cant ever be dropped player. That said, given the importance of Wednesday's game I would have started with McGeady.

As am I. Should be bigger, though.

The RDS looks good now. Was a good atmosphere last night.

Dropping someone because he ain't performing is something I don't have anything against.

however I believe doesn't treat every player the same which is a mistake in my books. some players can play * day in day out but they remain a first pick forever while others hardly get any chances at all.

I know he is not maradona, not once did i compare their abilties so be quiet on that case first and foremost.

how am i adopting different standards with nakamura and mcgeady ? and your comment that mcgeady needs a rest is laughable, he hasn't been benched with getting a rest in mind, he's been benched because he's been dropped, huge difference, and to go back to my point, Nakamura got us to the last 16 of the UCL, and scored a league winning free kick, and to be quite honest, i think he was the only man in the squad capable of scoring those free kicks tbh, he's way too important to drop.

Boruc - On his game, arguably the best keeper in britian imo, and has bailed us out so many times, don't i have a right to love him ?

Nakamura - lacking in some departments, but no one can disagree with the fact he is our most creative player, and best technical player, yes he's a lightweight, and a bit slow, but with a ball at his feet, i am more confident than i am when the ball is at McGeady's feet.

i don't dislike McGeady or Skippy, so i ask you to please edit your comment, thank you, i dislike McDonald and McGeady's form for the past few months, a bit different really isn't it.

So basically what your saying is that Naka shouldn't be dropped because he can score free kicks ? So can Robson and Maloney and to be honest I'd rather have them in my team before Naka in some cases.

No what i'm saying is, he is our most creative player, best passer, best set piece taker, best vision.

if we get all of that in a player, then i don't mind him being a lightweight, cos the talents he has make him IMO a * great player, who we're lucky to have.

If he is going to play , i'd play him in a free central role where he can " roam " and create. He is wasted out on the wing as he has no pace.
