Classic as in, that's what he used to be like, or classic as in he always does this?

The latter. Did it against Milan too. He's immature and can't control his temperament.

Absolute bollocks. Maybe three years ago I would have agreed but over the last couple of years i'd trust him more than most in the big games to keep his head and not do anything stupid.

Last night was a disaster for him, but to suggest he does this often or is immature is well wide of the mark.

I wouldn't have sent him off but he gave the ref the option. If you kick out, no matter how minor it looks, then I don't think you can complain if you see red.

He did worse against karagandy and got away with it. This time he cost us. I think it was stupid and immature

He can't control his temper when it comes to the big games and when we need him most. He has a lot to answer to. He hasn't behaved like a captain with his antics in the last two CL games. That said, I actually think he played brilliantly until his red card yesterday.

Deserved to be sent off for the stupidity alone

    Violent conduct = Red Card.

I thought Brown was past the stage of being a complete moron, He's been outstanding for a while now.

In his 20 odd CL games for us how often has he been sent off?

It's not about red cards. I'm making the point that he lacks discipline.

the fact is in the last 3 champions league games, he should have been sent off against Karagandy ( which would have been a feckin disaster ), was involved in an off the ball with Balotelli and then got sent off yesterday

It was a red. I was livid at the ref until I saw the replay and then absolutely gutted. I can't believe he did that in such a big game. I really thought he'd grown out of it.

He could have seen red against karegandy and that daft thing with ballotelli cost us. Aside from that his discipline has been excellent and he's a real asset to the team now, he just made a couple of mistakes.

I think he mostly has mate. Nowhere near as bad as he used to be anyway.

He'll always be probe to the odd incident though. It's just the way he is.

He got away with murder that game. The past 3 games are as big as it gets for us as well, I'm still waiting on Brown coming out and apologizing.

The two Ajax games were always going to be the rwo most important in the group and now we're going to have to play them without him. This could well be the end of our campaign this season.

Stone wall sending off. He let himself and the team down. Anyone who says it wasn't a sending off has a green plastic bag over their head.

I'm nervous about Ajax, everybody seems to think that beating them is a given, I'm not so sure.

Anyone who thinks that is a * idiot. We can't score goals.
