OK, but when he does go, do you guys not think we are too easily out-muscled without him?

Not necessarily, if we pick the right cm's we'd be fine in there. Imo the right cm's are Ledley and Kayal.

I like Ledley and Kayal in the middle, something we've not seen since Wanyama emerged really.

I like Ledley and Kayal in the middle too; but they seem to struggle against big strong players (both great ones like Emenike and quite mediocre ones like that Goncalves. Maybe it'd be different with Brown alongside them?

To be fair that might also be because we lack a dominant CB. If we could just have Mad Maj but with Ambrose's pace alongside Kelvin Wilson...:35:

    Brilliant games?

When may I ask did they transpire?

We wont have a team next year the way half of the folk here go on. Thats wanyama, hooper, forster, wilson, ambrose all sold. Id let 1 go, and that'll be hooper. He is imo easily replaced. (sorry hooper fan boys)

Sell now while the value is high, we had a great run in Europe, beat barca, wanyama had a great season, his stock is high the highest it will probably go with us, so now is the time.

If we get good money for any of our players then sell, Reinvest in the team, we are a selling team due to our cucumtances, ie league, tv revenue etc

He's been great for us but if good £ comes in then sell.

Because in my opinion the SFA as usual will back their ref no matter how incompetent he is or how bad the decision is. Thus Wanyama will then miss the semi-final against Dundee United and for me he is one of our best players. So I would rather have him miss Saturday against Hibernian when there is no guarantee we win the league even if we beat Hibernian and have him available for the semi-final. If I had any confidence in the SFA to do whats right I would say go with the appeal as the red card was a joke but I have no confidence in the SFA at all.

Nice to see the red card taken away. Would love for this beast to stay but cannot see it. If he signed a contract extension I would feel alot more confident about him not leaving. Time will tell.

Wanyama winning his appeal, coupled with Goncalves been done for simulation. makes Bobby Madden's position as a Grade 1 ref untenable IMO, given his previous howler over the Matthews's "penalty " against Dundee United at Parkhead.

    Agreed.

Mistakes at best, something more sinister at worst.

    I agree.

But what will his punishment be? Nothing I'd imagine. I think I'm right in saying Grade 1 referees have officiated in Division 3 games this season, so demotion to lower leagues isn't really a 'punishment'.

I think he's just incompetent to be honest, in the St.Mirren game he made mistakes both ways.

Think he got demoted to div 2 after the st mirren game. He's just a * ref, nothing sinister about it.
