You know mate, i used to know a couple of anarchists in my dope smoking days a long time ago, before i really had any idea how anything worked, and i do understand them better now......but id be lying if i said i truly knew what their grand plan was.
    That said....nowt wrong with idealism.
I will be voting for them as a tactical vote and as an anti vote against the SNP, others will still vote for them because they still support them.
I dont know.I dont know what to believe anymore in truth.

I agree with a lot of what you say here, but voting doesn't have to be a substitute for political activism. Just because you vote doesn't mean you can't campaign for equality in numerous ways.

Voting for one of the traditional big three (soon to be two) is a total waste of time, but so is not voting at all. I think people who claim not voting is the best way to speak out are completely misguided. I like Russell Brand but didn't agree with him on that one, especially as the things he talks about are the same as the Green Party.

If the SNP are like the BNP because both are hateful parties (I'm guessing that's where you're going with your bizarre analogy), and the BNP are hateful towards other nations, races and religions, who are the SNP supposed to hate?

    It's the Welsh, isn't it? :54:

Question for you two. Apart from the name Scottish National Party, what is it about the SNP that fits the term "nationalist" that doesn't apply to the Better Together politicians and their "we are a family of nations, I care about people south of the border too, what about WW2" pish?

Here's a question for you. Do you understand the use of smileys and suchlike to express the idea that one is simply at the wind-up? Joking? Having a larf? Pulling your leg?

I see that the Tories are at 0% at the moment. I assume you haven't voted yet Regime. Although given your hostility towards all YES supporters I would actually have you pegged as Labour man.

Absolutely. The first past the post system just creates a situation where millions of votes are meaningless and people resort to voting tactically instead of voting for what they really want. It's a * electoral system.

Quick question. Why would anyone who really wants independence even vote in a Westminster election? Why give it recognition and legitimacy by taking part?

I certainly won't be voting. I'll only vote in Scottish elections from here on in.

I've always been of the opinion that if you don't cast your vote in an election then you forfeit your right to complain when the government does things you don't like.

However, post referendum, I must admit there is a part of me that has come around to thinking along the same lines you are. I'm really not sure I will vote this time and if I don't it will be the first time I haven't done so.

Because even when the voting % dropped down into the low 30% they just kept on going and crewing us and acting like they were the will of the people.
Our only choice is to put in place something that will fight them in the only way they listen to....votes.

We need as many pro indy MP's in WM as we can get to affect change in Scotland. We need to seriously rattle their cage in the General Election and this time we have a real opportunity to do it. They're panicking about SNP being a majority party in Government. Just think about it they might be glad to get rid of us at the end of the day.
