He didnt play for bolton much, nearly all sub appearances. A lot near the very end of games.

He's better than Forrest , not only that but Forrest cant play every week then what do we do if he gets injured ? Maloney is wasted wide needs to play off the striker or upfront , mc ginn still a few months away , Ledley wasted wide , leaves us short ,

Maloney isn't a striker tho, he has everything for a striker apart from he isn't clinical enough.

Much as I love all the signings its getting to the point now (unless he can offload some existing players) that any new signing should only be if they are going to go straight into the team. Otherwise we are only saving up problems with more disgruntled players who aren't getting a game. If this bloke falls into that category then my vote is on giving Forrest a chance, he looks a real prospect.

says on the bbc website that he would love a move up here, since he seen what lubo done up here and wants to do the same, would say this should be a definate signing and will be completed by the end of the week.

And would it be some sort of loan deal if we get him?Or would he sign?

Its debatable that he's better than Forrest but Forrest
1.counts as one of the 8 homegrown players required in the squad
2.is our player and not just on loan

I think we should be signing him permanently, if we do sign him, or loan with buy option...

I agree...Weiss is an incredible talent but unless we have the chance to buy then I say give Forrest and McGinn the chance.

I agree Forrest is a excellent young talent but people here are over hyped the lad , ie saying hes better than Aiden etc , he is still raw and not ready to start week in week out , I honestly think Weiss is hands down a better player than him so would love him to come here , The lads got bags of pace skill and end product , he's already had full call ups international level and played excellent at world cup when used ,
As for the point made about Maloney being used upfront or in the hole any time ive watched him play there for us its been his best games and his best role within the side ,
