How mate? We can only legally sell 53,000 season tickets. We sell 6,000 match day tickets on average £170,000 per match - match day revenue could be upwards of £375,000 in total per match

Hopefully ST holders will get a reduction on the price of their ticket if they do

How would they even begin to market that as it stands just now nobody knows when we'll be back at games so we're paying 600 quid to watch it on the tele. No chance they would charge 30 quid a game to non season books

Aye it’s at the clubs discretion maybe more for smaller clubs than ours but no harm making it available.

Fair enough if they're planning on charging standard ticket prices but if they sell them at £10-15 a game then it would be very unfair.

Aye but as twisty says if its charged at less than £30 per game its unfair they would essentially be penalising season ticket holders

Has the club confirmed they will go down the PPV route?

Difficult one to price.. But if theres a chance to make the extra cash its a no brainer..

Hopefully it will only be until October in any case.

Hamilton came out & said their live game in August would only be screened live to over seas fans. I think this is were the confusion came from but it is because they are going to be doing it PPV & this is why they can't put Sky games on. I don't see us doing PPV as it would be more of a headache than it would be worth for the club. No fan that doesn't have the season ticket is going to pay £25 to watch a game on TV & they wouldn't be able to charge less than that while charging season ticket holders it.

I agree but the club have backed themselves in to a corner by bumping up season ticket prices when we can't actually attend. How can it be fair that I'm a season book holder paying £30 to watch the tele but my mate who doesn't have a season book pays a tenner

I don't think the club will do it mate even though it is an option.

Surely if the platform is being set up for ST then offering a PPV option even if it is priced at £30 a game would make sense. As if we are broadcasting it anyway there would be no or very minimal cost to process orders and bring in additional revenue even if the uptake was low any uptake is extra money in the door. You would probably get pubs (will be open by then) and some folk buying it regardless of price.

As i said before it would be more of a headache than its worth. More of a chance of streams being leaked on PPV & we know what the club think about illegal streams. Someone said before JPT said it won't be done. Pubs also won't be allowed to use the virtual season ticket even on PPV.
