Ive still seen no sensible reasoning behind a reduction on season ticket prices.....bearing in mind the financial results we have in black and white for all to see.

(no sign of a £1m bonus for Lawell though..)

Yes the setanta deal wasnt great but any other deal wasnt going to provide a much bigger pot for us. Sky arent interested as we are a small country with a small league....who just happen to have 2 massive teams. There is nothing major in it for SKY.

I would make it an 18 team league...but that doesnt automatically mean more interesting or entertaining....the standard could be diluted further.

Why don't you just ask John Reid to bend over so you can lick his * for real, instead of metaphorically?

Page 21 of clubs annual report. Lawwell earned £738,987 which included salary, bonus, benefits in kind and pension contributions.

    £1m bonus indeed :icon_mrgreen:

No but to some it is. Its all about priorities. If you can't afford it don't pay it.

That happens in football mate. Increasing debt chasing the dream isnt the answer when there isnt the income to repay it.

Working Class men have football in their blood, and suddenly you are saying they just shouldn't go? Without us, football would be nowhere. It should be changed to necessitate us, not the filthy rich.

Its the price you pay to follow football these days. You don't have to be filthy rich to pay £500 per annum.

hamilton is 22 quid and they don't offer concessions to the Old Firm. Fair play to St Johnstone - my ticket for the 4-1 game was a tenner:icon_mrgreen:

    How many times.

THE TEAM WAS DOWNSIZED AND THE MAJORITY OF THEM ARE * *!!!!

There's your reason why we should have to pay 500 quid to watch them

see all of the clubs should and really need to drop the ticket prices! too high guys.i mean the spl is the top league in scotland right? so why do you see half empty stadiums everywhere? thats right lads too many clubs being thick as * and charging stupid prices and the quality of football is * at times! but we do get good games so its not all gloom. just need to change it all for the better here.

stop going on about the 1m bonus - the guy made a mistake in another thread - its a bit harsh to keep throwing it back in his face.

i don't think it does represent value for money but i'd still keep paying it tbh. Most things in life these days don't represent value for money and, unfortunately, Celtic is no different
