Anybody notice that Celtic did not have 3 Under 21's in the squad yesterday. Rule states that there must be 3 under 21's in the 18 man squad, but celtic only had 2 (ki and Thompson).
I didn't notice, heard some guy on Radio Scotland yesterday asking why and they're checking it out. What happened, does Lenny not know the rules? Nobody check the team sheets?
There may be trouble ahead....

its a stupid rule that needs scrapped asap! if your good enough and you have earned your place on the bench? then fine,if not ? why should you be there.

We was fine dont panic ,
Marc Crosas - Currently 22, but just turned it in January, and it's at the beginning of the season.
Ki Sung-Yong - Currently 21, he's fine
Josh Thompson - Currently 19, he's fine
Niall McGinn - Currently 22, turned 22 in July, the rules state it's as of the 1st of January the year the season comences, so he counts too.

Would be better if they had to play in the starting line up would help clubs blood there youth ,

surely it would be better that the youngsters were there on merit though? Enforcing clubs to play or select 2 under 21's for the bench is a joke -
It's a shambles of a ruling and it doesn't work. If a young player is good enough then he'll get a game, if he isn't then he won't. Forcing clubs to play guys that aren't ready is actually counter productive, you end up wasting talent by throwing them in when they aren't ready.

The managers just shove the necessary under-21's on the bench and guys that are better have to sit in the stand.

I agree the rule is stupid but I dont feel it will be scrapped, I think the best we can hope for is a reduction
