    Lesnar was a letdown

That was the first time I had seen him fight in the UFC so I was looking forward to it but he did nothing

That fight where the guy got knocked out with 1 punch was amazing, I literally looked away from the tele as then they were going into the octagon then looked back up and it was over :56:

Loved the Diaz fight...every second, as always with him.

Did anyone else think after 5 seconds that Lesnar was beat?I seriously did.He looked nervous and ill equipped and it showed for me in his body language. What a great finish by Overeem though.....i felt his body kicks in my living room.
I like JdS, but he has a real fight on his hands...and the UFC have some brilliant match-ups ahead!

Also loved watching the young guy Hettes. The only flat spots for me were the 2 quick knockouts!:50::50::50:

Diaz is turning into a mirror image of his brother, both are becoming world class boxers.

Feel * for Lesnar but I suspect he has already signed a deal for a couple of big matches in WWE, most probably Wrestlemania. Never did like being hit but having 12 inches of your colon removed will always take something away from you.

Shame it had to end for Lesnar that way but never looked the same or as confident since his bout with mononucleosis.

Lesnar fight went way I thought it would. He isnt a real MMA fighter. Just a pumped up WWE wrestler. He is also a bully. As with all bullys, when it didnt go his way, he curled up into a ball and bricked it.

Overeem is a top drawer fighter. His fight coming up with JDS will be a genuine world class fight. Both great stand fighters. Both KO power cant wait.

Diaz is a sensational fighter and made Cerrone look average. World Champion in the waiting.

He is an NCAA champion, the single best wrestler in the USA in 2000 at his weight class. His credentials are undeniable, especially as he holds wins over; Herring, Mir, Couture and Carwin who are all world class MMA fighters.

If he were simply a bully he wouldn't have double legged Carwin, gained full mount then sunk in a choke.

Great to see Diaz and the cowboys actually shake hands and respect each other after their fight. Both guys put on one * of a show.

Im somewhere between you and Kemo.I didnt dislike him as such, but i didnt like him coming in and winning initially, as i felt he was too big(not his fault i suppose) and had an unfair advantage purely based on his bulk and not skill.I am absolutely convinced now that Mir would win any third fight with him.

I do appreciate he did bring the UFC more fans into the game as he was known as a wrestler, but at the end of the day, i have to agree with Kemo, that he was not a true MMA all rounder, and was found out.I wish him well.

Herring and Couture werent fair match ups. Couture isnt a true heavyweight, and still gave him a tough time. Herring was a dolly for Lesnar. Mir was still getting himself back into the UFC, though Lesnars strength no doubt won the rematch. Carwin was the fighter that dented Lesnars seeming invincibility and if he had been a bit more ruthless would have knocked him out.

After the Carwin fight, other MMA fighters seen that Lesnar didnt like geting hit. That was his downfall. Great wrestler, no doubt about it. But MMA is much more than wrestling and his strength and wrestling only got him so far.

I am glad he has retired, his health has probably had an impact on his decision, but ultimately I think he has realised that the top end of the heavyweights have no fear of him. As Overeem showed last night.

The top MMA Fighters have a wide base of skill sets, and Lesnar hasnt been able to build on them in the short time he has been in the UFC.

I agree with this, Mir is vastly improved since Lesnar beat him in their rematch and is a real contender now.

Did anyone else root for Kim Dong-Hyun and Alexander Gustafsson as we have lots of Koreans and Swedish people at Celtic? :52:

WWE is a pantomine. I find it really cringeworthy and embarrassing. I'm sure other people will say the same, allowed to have an opinion on it surely

Fair enough, but I hate the jumped up snobbery of because you're an MMA fan, then it's okay to disrespect a sport (and that is what it is) that actually has much in common with it, if you take away the theatricality of it all.
