Celtic are a bigger club in terms of fans and history but in a business sense we are about the size of Middlesbrough. In terms of being able to attract players Seville are way ahead of us.they are title challengers in arguably the best league in the world, are UEFA Cup holders and will be competing in the CL next year where they will be probably expected to advance farther than us.:54:

Well, we do remember what it's like. :)
Were there in the semis some 9 years ago, and UEFA was far more challenging than today at those times.
You see, we understand your home ambitions and the need to establish even more authority over the Huns by having a good winning streak in the CL for just another year, but Spartak needs it even more, for a victorious season will presumably open the door to just another epoch of Spartak's domination in Russia and East Europe.
For the first time in 6 years we have a pacey, versatile and high quality team that seeks domination at all levels possible. It's just the matter of us wanting this victory more.
Good luck still, I expect a good performance from both teams :)

hows it not a case? inorder to get higher profile players, to compete in the champions league / eufa cup you need to be rich. and football is a buisness, there for its about money so i'm very much sure thats a case.

i think you'll find i voted eufa cup not a diddy cup and have defended it.
only that celtic should be aiming for the last 16 and not taking a dive/losing to get into the uefa cup

i wudent mind winning the uefa cup but we need to be where the money is it the only way to keep dominating in scotland and if we keep doin well in europe then scottish football will be more recognisable and the more recognisable the more money
