could u give us some information on copenhagen - the airport,the city, the team and the fans

 

im super confident on us having a cracking cl tournament but i am always confident

 

Sure..
The airport is about 8 km. south east of Copenhagen city center. There's a train connection directly from the airport to the center, so transportation isn't going to be a big problem.
Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark and is by far the largest city with a population of 1,2 mio.. I think that Copenhagen is one of the nicest cities on this planet and we are generally very proud of our city. There are a few "must see places" like Nyhavn for instance.


FC Copenhagen aka. FCK was founded in 1992 when the oldest team of Denmark "KB"(15 Danish Championships) merged with B1903(6 Danish Championships). In the recent years Danish football has been ruled by FCK and their archrivals Brøndby IF from the Suburbs of Copenhagen. The competition and hatred between those two teams has grown in these years and this Local Derby is actually very similar to Rangers vs Celtic and is by some called "The New Firm". We are two very different clubs, with very different fans. In FCK we have two main groups of fans, some "official" and some "unofficial". FCKFC is the official fanclub, while we have a lot of unofficial fangroups. The biggest ultras group(non-violent) we have is Urban Crew this is in my eyes the best group in Denmark, eventhough I'm not a member.

But can you tell me a bit about your fans? Do you have ultras and which fan groups are the best in your club?

 

if we want to take points at cp we need to bring the atmosphere back to the days of the lyon and anderlecht games, not felt that kind of atmosphere in a long time and i hope it comes back

 

I agree I think it will be between us and Benfica for second spot. Firstly we must beat Benfica and Copenhagen at home and then look for a win and a draw in the return games. I think if we can beat Copenhagen home and away and get 4 points from Benfica then that will be enough. Anything against Man U would be a big bonus, maybe we can stay unbeaten at home by getting a point at home to Man U that would help a lot. In the end 10 points I think will be enough. The key really will be IMHO how we do away in Portugal and Denmark. If we can get results there then we can get through.
