Their lack of an away goal is the positive from the night and there's no reason we can't go over there and get a score draw at worst...

Need to be much better than last night to make that happen however

Was very uncomfortable last night with so many key players off the boil. Same old Celtic weakness which is they seem to run out of ideas against a well organised team.

Next week is the acid test but am confident that if they turn up this is way doable.

We completely nullified our attack. One shot on target in the stats? Need to do better. I see that as a small wake up call. Another week of fitness too. First goal and there not scoring twice. They score and we still have to score anyway.

should have had one of the youngsters up front and play our normal formation that would have worked for 1 game . didnt work last night and we now know a striker must be brought in or paddy roberts you get two in one. thank * it was only 0-0 or we were out.HH.

Far from an ideal scoreline but considering the chances Rosenborg missed we're lucky to still be in this. Away goal now is essential and considering our record and that they're halfway into the season is a massive risk.

Thank * Griffiths will be back.

just in from the game (via a coupla pubs and the casino!)

pretty terrible display to be honest. fans were, on the most part, pathetic. I sometimes felt as if i was the only one singing in my section. not that i claim to be any sort of uber fan, but for a european night, it was as tame as i've seen. nobody seemed up for it.

the team were out done by a well organised defence. lustig was given as much time as he wanted cos they know he's pretty much * going forward and he had no-one to aim for in the box. you could see their tactics working. Us, on the other hand, ran out of ideas pretty quickly. Shambolic at points.
how we got ourselves with no fit strikers and 1 fit CB is just typical of celtic in a euro qualifier. real danger of not even qualifying now.

And to the * sitting behind me, well, you can just * off. Smart arsed *. Who left with 10mins to go. Same with a lot around me. Entitled *.

I think we should have played aitcheson or ciftci up front, even though they won't be as good as other players in the team , they know the position very well and would be in the right area. Too many times there was players with the ball out wide and no one in the box

Now that I've slept on it. Im feeling a bit better. With a striker I'm sure sure we can score over there.

I've seen plenty of people criticising both Brown and Ntcham, to be fair.

We were poor but it is worth noting their match sharpness in comparison our lack of it. Anyone who's played football knows this is a big factor.

The balance of the team was off due to having no striker. Along with my points above, it's not surprising we were rubbish.

For some reason I'm not that worried about the return leg. As long as he have a striker back it opens us up to play like we know we can. Rogic can only play behind a striker.

Only 33% of teams who draw 0-0 at home in the first leg get through, going to need a very good performance next week.

Last night was a bit of a failed experiment from Brendan. Rogic up front was non existent, let's hope we never see that again. The wingers playing inside was playing right into their hands as it further congested an already packed defence. The wingers should have been stretching their defence as much as possible. Still we avoided an away goal, and I'd hope Brendan will fix the tactics for next week. We also have another 90 minutes under our belts and hopefully have Griff back, so I think we still have a good chance. It's not going to be as comfortable as I would have liked, but when do we ever do things the easy way?

    Hindsight is great isn't it?

I can't recall seeing anyone call for this before the match.

I thought Ntcham was decent tbh. Sprayed the ball pretty well.

Brown was pretty woeful. Looked off the pace.

Also when he tried to tackle someone I'm the corner in the 1st but wasn't strong enough. Guy got a free run into the edge of the area.

In general as well was slack all night.
