I'd say the Barca outplayed them almost as much as Bayern did.

 

Granted, although he stated it as if there was multiple teams ahead of Barcelona that Man City played have this season.

They might have caused problems going forward as Jovetic and Aguero are quite quick and Silva and Nasri can beat players and play a pass. But with Navas whos not that creative, Kolarov who has no pace and Negredo who has no pace then they cant really get forward quick enough to catch Barca out.

More city sympathising here but they're better away from home in the CL. They beat bayern away remember with super james Milner man of the match.

 

Chelseas performance against city in the league i think was the best performance city have came up against, not the best team though.

 

1 billion spent over the past 5 years and at home in their biggest match in so who knows how many years, and yet their opponents didn't even have to get out of first gear.

Chelsea are more balanced between attack and defence. They're my new favourites to win the EPL.

 

That was a meaningless game though and if I recall Bayern were in the lead and took their foot off the gas.

That game was like when we went away to Stuttgart in 2003, got the early goals were through, went into conservation mode and lost the game but it didnt matter.

 

1st in the group was at stake there. 1 more goal and they'd have topped the group. Pellegrini didn't seem to realise and took his main goal threat off.
