Why did lenny take off Kayal?
I thought he was playing well, should have removed Brown or Ki neither of whom did much imo.

    Well done Celtic.

Went away to one off the best sides in Italy, and were unucky not to come away with the three points.

We may be out the Europa, but we're looking like a pretty useful team these days.

Once Izzy, Matthews and Ledley are back we will be motoring...

PS - great performances by Forster and Samaras. :50:

Some will have benefitted from the experience.

Udinese had us in the 2nd half and we got lucky a good few times. They should have finished us.

But back to reality. Not good enough to compete at even Europe League level.

How much confidence is that going to give us for the rest of the season! Not the result we wanted but a very good performance against a very good side from a far superior league!

Done us proud bhoys well done! Fills me with hope for next seasons European campaign, two away draws in France and Italy, our away curse comes to an end next season!!

What an effort from the bhoys tonight and this whole campaign. In a group that hard, that only team to beat us was Athletico..a team that can spend £35m on one player, is a testament to how well we have done. And to think that it was that dodgy last minute penalty against Udinese at CP that has humped us!! Hard luck, but well proud of the whole team.

Well done just not good enough - first half we gave them a * of a game 2nd half we went missing -slack defending cost us once again time to sort out the defence please.

:50:Taking a point off them at home is not a easy task and the lads deserve some credit for that .

Thought Lurch, Maj, Waynyama, Sammy, Hooper and Forrest did well tonight at times. Cha, Mulgrew, Broony and Ki were not great. We looked very vulernable at the FB positions and Cha was laughably bad. Broony didnt look match fit to me.

    * off mate, maj had an excellent game against one of the best strikers In Europe. One mistake that never led to anything. Nothing but pride, that was a s good as we've played away from home in Europe and we were so, so unlucky not to get the win we needed :shamrock:

Very competitive in the Europa League's group of death bodes very well. Put in a great show and it shows away form is improving. Would have loved to go through but it means there will be less strain on a squad that should now win the treble

    +1

Thought he was our worst player the night by far. He was *, couldn't put pass together and all he wanted to do was break legs.

An ok performance taking into consideration the way the they have played in a lot of games this season. At lead they looked as thought they knew each other-especially in the first half.
Sammy dropped out of it in the 2nd (no surprise there!) and Forster was great! Well done Big Man! Cha! Heidless Chicken!!!
Hey Ho! Let's go and keep our present league run going!

Start of the group stages no one gave us a chance of even getting a single point let alone 9.

The Bhoys gave us all a fair bit of pride back in Europe this season. Valuable lessons will have been learnt and don't forget not one game in Europe have we been able to play our strongest XI.

We can take alot out of the EL into the remainder of the SPL so let's go on and win this * league.

Udinese after that knew they had just played a * game of football. Joint top of serie A, played their big hitters and we matched them. Bit lucky with some of their chances, but unlucky with ours, hoopers chance early on, chas effort on the post.

Some of our players are simply not up to scratch, this defence needs some * money spent on it, especially at central defence. Our midfield to strikers are decent at european level as we have seen but the defence at times hasn't been up to scratch.

If we can get together a stronger defence, we can make inroads in europe in the future.
