I just find it hard to expect us to get pick up anything when we've only avoided defeat twice in 26 games mate. Luck never seems to go our way. They should have won that game against Vitesse, and got sucker-punched really. The Ajax scouts probably thought we were awful against Dundee United too.

Although our record is pretty horrific away from home, there can be no doubting that Lennon has made us a much harder side to break down. And let's be honest, out of the teams Lennon has come up against as a manager in the Group Stages, this Ajax side, is probably the worst. I think tonight can go either way if I'm honest. What I will say though, a similar performance to the one we saw in Milan, and we won't lose tonight in my opinion.

If you look at last nights Champions League results, the ONLY team to win away form home was Bayern Munich which was only a 1-0 against Plzen, who most would regard as one of the weakest teams in the CL this year.

Galataseray could not beat Copenhagen, Man U couldn't beat Sociadad, Benfica could not beat Olympiacos.

This just shows how difficult it is to win away from home in this competition, Ajax may not be on the best form but tonight will be different and a win will be very difficult.

I still believe we can do it though.

In the last round of matches we were the only team from all the Groups to win at home that Tuesday night v Ajax.

We have a good chance of winning this. This isn't the time to be negative. If we were going to the Nou Camp then aye we would have no chance of winning. If we can beat Spartak in Moscow we can beat this lot. They may be a big name but they aren't that good. We're a big name and we're a pretty decent side. 2-3 Celtic.

Why quote pre season games?Mean nothing.Bookies have us at 10/3 for the win which is good for an away CL game.

I'd say Spartak were poorer, especially when you take into account the mistakes they made in their home game (sending off) and away game (defensive lapses), plus their lack of fight.
