    So true :giggle1:

    Jesus!

I don't indulge all that often to be fair, 1 or 2 a month normally.

I refuse to give it up after the burd was giving me grief for taking it to one of her pal's house-warmings, saying it was a riddy to drink it with strangers at the age of 29.

Showed up and there was 8 other guys there, 5 of which were drinking it. After that I swore to myself I would never allow myself to be influenced when I wanted a bottle again.

From that day forth I have went and spread the gospel of the monks to anyone that will listen.

If any disgruntled boyfriend/husband/partner is reading this after they've been given jip about drinking it, I implore you to buy a bottle tonight. Go home, kick the front door off it's hinges, announce your arrival and tell them you're getting on it.

JD used to send me bandy and an aggressive side I didn't like....so another I try and stay clear of..

Now I'm on lanzoprazole for gas and reflux so need to avoid cider and beer. * barely left anything I can get pished on :giggle1:

I’m the same mate. 1 beer and my stomach swells up like a * balloon and can’t drink anymore. Why I stick to whiskeys, red wine and the odd bottle of tonic.

Lads, @packybhoy and @Gyp Rosetti recomnended Kronenbourg as a less gassy beer. It’s my go-to now. Far less of a bloat so I can enjoy a few before moving on to the gin

I'll give that a go mate, cheers :50:

It's only since I've been taking these tablets and had a camera down me last week so want to try and limit it as much as possible..

Like many probably, I always started on the beer/cider and moved on to spirit's later on when the gut starts bloating. Caught up with me :rip_1:
