When people refer to an article they’ve read as a “piece”. Annoying as * for some reason. A piece is a sandwich.

When you're trying to visit a private museum in Paris and your card gets declined.

I’m going to lambast football parlance once again: ‘worldy’. Jeez! Baller, pler and worldy can all be condemned to Room 101, for me.

Oh, btw, the real nadir of football speak has to be when well-to-do, would-be snobby wives refer to fitba as the ‘footie’. “Oh, Miles is away to the footie tonight.” Is he, doll? That’s just dandy. Now, can you make me a ham sammich??

You can add the middle lane drivers to that...

40ft arctic governed to 55mph and I have 2 options undertake them, which is illegal or move out behind them and hope they move over to let you past. Although the minute you move out they put the boot down and disappear which makes everyone behind you think your the * sitting in the middle lane holding up traffic .......

The amount of players with double barrelled second names nowadays. Its getting ridiculous. Mackay-Steven....Loftus - Cheek....Oxlade - Chamberlaine...Ward - Prowse.....even our man Carter - Vickers.

What happened to you got yer da's surname and that was it?? They're maw and da cannae agree on the second name so they just give their weans both.

And then....whats going to happen when these double barrelled hectors have weans themselves???? If it keeps going in about 50 years you'll get centre halves called big Davie McClean-MacDougal-O'Leary-Jones-Cunningham

There was a player in the 70s called Harry Haddock. Played with Clyde I think. Thats mare like the thing. Nice and simple

And lastly Lorraine Kelly and her permanent cheeriness. You cannae be up for yer work that early on a Monday morning...maybe like 3 or 4 am to get all the makeup and hair done before you go on the telly and be that cheery every single time.

She's heavy banging out the lines at every ad break. No way you can be that cheery otherwise
