  6. I had a conversation at the wife’s graduation do with a couple of folk from Kilmarnock on Wednesday night about this.

    They didn’t know why either, why the * is it earlier than everywhere else and why does everyone go out for it as well? Utterly bizarre.

    Quick get a pumpkin!

    On the weekend before Halloween I like nothing better than to hollow out and carve a 'welcoming' pumpkin lantern, then place it in the window for all the local kids...

  19. When you're in the airport and everyone desperately makes a rush to get on the plane first, totally ignoring the row announcements and blocking the aisle when they get on as they nonchalantly try and fit their massively oversized "hand luggage" into the lockers.

    It's even worse when you have to get a bus to the plane and you still see everyone frantically trying to make it to the front of the queue :giggle1:
