There was a creepy santa in my town today. Just standing at the roadside ringing a bell. When i drove past him later he was waving at cars and blowing kisses to people.
    Weird.

I used to watch the snooker with my Gran back when Steven Hendry was winning something like 6 world championships in a row. She didn't like him because she felt he was big headed (I never got that impression), I remember saying that we should be supporting our fellow Scotsman.

Is Hendry still playing? Been a while since I watched the snooker.

Must say i never thought of Hendry as big headed, but i can understand why some never took to him, maybe a bit like Steve Davis ?

The only English player I ever wanted to win the world championship was Jimmy White (the greatest player to never win it). I was a bit conflicted in that final V Steven Hendry when Jimmy blew it on the last frame. Hendry had an arm injury during that tournament and still won.

Agree about JW, he was really unlucky that Hendry was around at that time, for me Hendry at his best is the greatest player (in the modern game) ever to pick up a cue.

In that final when Hendry had the arm injury it was in Jimmy's hands, I wonder if the pressure got to him? When he missed the pot there was just enough left on the table for Hendry to take the frame and the tournament. Don't think I've ever seen such a close final.

Said this in another thread, but the phrase "hint of offside" is annoying. Andy Walker said it today, someone should put a muzzle on him. :40:

LOL, how the * can you have a hint of offside? Surely you can only be offside or not.

Some of Little Britain was good, but apart from that he basically makes a living off kidding on he's gay or something, I've never really got him.

For me Matt Lucas had all the good characters and made it really funny, and aye yer right about the whole gay act, it's really very tiresome.
