    Nah he's staying home looking after his kids and I am getting up at 5 and getting a train down to London to do the meeting for him.

    Say you'll do it if he buys you a ticket for the Small Faces Musical in The Vaults in London.

    That's why I like staying in hotels. You can just shoot all over the duvet without having to worry about washing it. :icon_mrgreen:

    People who don't say thank you when you hold a door for them. Really grinds my gears.

    I feel like following them to the next door then jinking ahead of them and slamming it in their ungrateful * face.

    Hope you always ,if staying in a hotel that has a shower curtain across the bath, rinse the shower curtain before you get in. I have heard that some people like to 'crack one off' into the curtain in the morning as a kind of going away present :97:

    I used to have to stay at the Dundee Hilton, they had that set up, mind its maybe a Dundee thing right enough as I haven't seen it lately :smiley-laughing002: Am now trying to remember, and it wasn't that long ago either, I stayed at the Marriot and am sure that was the same.

    You would demand a refund if they had a shower over the bath? :smiley-laughing002:

    * right I would! It's not the 1980's anymore, I don't need a bath in my * hotel, with some * shower head that isn't designed to provide a power shower experience, not to mention the * honking shower curtain!

    I'd rather have a proper shower, something like this is ideal in my opinion;

    * shower over a bath! :smiley-laughing002:

    I like the choice of a bath or shower myself. Nice to roll around a bath with the missus after the wee yin has fell asleep.

    You would need to be at the hotel with a woman to understand that. :smiley-laughing002:

    I'll stick to the bed for my rolling around, thanks! :smiley-laughing002:

    Honestly though, talking about hotels, this has to be my favourite all-time hotel that I've stayed at. It's in Oslo.

    Ikea'd up to *, not only with a power shower and NO BATH, but it was a wetroom!

    Fantastic! I was there for 6 weeks over a 4 month period and loved it.

    If its for work only I try and keep the cost down to about £150/200 ish a night (hector doesn't quibble so much) and I often just book a 'standard room' as opposed to upgrading.
    If we are going away its a better room/suite as opposed to the pokey wee rooms you usually get.
    The only time I have ever refused to stay at a hotel was over on the west coast, utter shitehole it was, typical tourist place as well :54:
