Aren't they scrapping housing benefit for under 25's, lifting the cap on tuition fees and doing away with grants for university students, so that they rack up even more debt, as well? And those are really the less devastating measures he's introducing. Aye, he's a * top bloke, is oor George.

This is my first real experience of an unbridled Conservative government. I didn't think I could hate them anymore. I loathe them and everything they stand for with every fibre of my being.

In that position myself. Not much that can be done about it.

I walked away from a job, didn't like the short-term one I found myself doing in the meantime, and now I'm praying its for the best. Probably going to need two jobs, as the chance of getting proper hours is beyond realistic. I'm sure that will fit in lovely with me being in uni full-time. :54:

Its what he called it and what I posted regarding the National living wage. Whether you like it or not,its more than what labour proposed to do :smiley-laughing002:

Think you should re-read my post and then decide if I was in support of him or not :50:

Aye, it was a lie. :smiley-laughing002:

I doubt that the Labour cuts would have been so severe.

This wage increase is a nonsense. Thirteen million people are going to be worse off, all things considered, so they're not really doing anything (positive).

Labour's complicit. It's not fit for purpose. The Greens and the nationalists are now the de facto opposition.

Nope its called the new National living wage :97:
Labour don't have a clue on how to run a party so we would likely be in an even bigger mess with them.

Ah the greens hmm I read the manifesto ,think the SNP are the best bet and we wont say much more about Bennett :smiley-laughing002:

Just found out they're remaking ghostbusters with all female ghostbusters. This is an outrage, one of them is the fat bird from Mike and Molly which is unacceptable. I blame Padmill
