Goalkeepers diving spectacularly to tip a ball over the bar.

Even when i was taking my turn in goals when i was younger, at no time was a dive necessary if the ball is coming to you relatively straight.Keep you eye on it and jump 6 inches and tip it over....end of story!
And to make it even worse, you rarely see a goalie under 6'3" these days anyway....they dont even need to actually jump half the time.

 

Aye but the balls in your day we're the weight of a small child.
