Why not both ;-)

Ten in a row is the crown, the treble treble is the jewel in that crown.

 

I'd love both, now we're close I want both ....... I was just trying not to be too greedy with my wishlist

 

Yeah I didn't mean to sound too cocky about it. The semi against Aberdeen is going to be absolutely massive. Can't remember the last time I was this nervous about a Scottish Cup semi-final in all fairness. Absolutely huge game of football that'll be.

 

We're 8 wins away from the Treble Treble. Win the next 6 in the league, the semi and the final and it's ours.

We'll never have a better chance.

 

The league should not be an issue, Aberdeens form is strong and we will need to be at our best when we play them in the cup I predict a very tight game

 

It’s coming.

 

Have a Cup Final to play for with competition for places, will keep us purring along nicely.

 

Hopefully we can stay injury free.

Rest Eddie, Forrest, KT, and Calmac once the title is in the bag.

 

Still prefer triple treble to treble treble

 

Should be triple triple.

Triple is three of something.

Treble is when something gets three times bigger.

 

Or 3 Cups.

 

Treble treble rolls off the tongue better.

 

Both are grammatically correct.

Another vote for Treble Treble but call it whatever the * you want. If we win 9 domestic trophies on the trot then I don't think I'll be caring too much about idiosyncrasies of the English language.

If we get the treble treble, I'd absolutely love the timing of it:


1) 2016-17, "Rangers" are "back" and we win an invincible treble.

2) 2017-18, we have a wee dip in form, some injuries to contend with, also lose a few players, but still bag another treble.

3) 2018-19, we lose some key players, are plagued with constant injuries, a snake exits management at our club, all while dealing with a dip in form, but still on course.

4) Kicking on for 9 next year, with young players continuing to improve, other squad members wanting to step up, and money and ambition in the bank...

 

It's so close we can taste it

 

2016/17: Invincible Treble.
2017/18: Double Treble.
2018/19: Treble Treble.
2019/20: 9IAR.
2020/21: 10IAR.

Hopefully someone is making a documentary

 

If/when Celtic win the Scottish Cup this season not only will we have the treble treble but also Celtic will have completed a feat that NO OTHER Scottish club has done including when Big Jock was manager and that's winning the Scottish Cup 3IAR
