    Well said OP.

Some folk on here are acting like huns.

This man has had one and a quarter seasons. He has also put up with his and his families lives being threatened. Yet some on here abuse him...........

...and Lennon has been responsible for 4 years? The 'we are all Neil Lennon' is not about some Lennon cult, rather as a lightening rod, of someone we identify with, ipso facto that an attack on Lennon is an attack on our identity. No one is bigger than the club. Some players may think they are the ones getting the cheers, but it is not the individual players, doesn't matter if it's wee Jinky or Paul George, we support the Hoops first and foremost.

A rookie should not have been put in charge of our club. That is a fact and not a myth. When we finish second in the league again will you still be saying Lennon is the man for the job? At least when I watched Rangers pump Celtic year after year in the 90s the huns were throwing money at it. This year the huns did not get many of their first choice signings and yet they are 10 points clear. Mowbray's first 9 league games had a higher points tally than Lennon's first 9 games this year. As I've said: If Lennon wasn't Lennon these would be no spilt in opinions, everyone would want him out.

Lenny is a Celtic legend that is not in dispute . But I would hate to see this guy dragged through the mud because he is tactically naive and has had very little support from the board . We all know he wanted higher calibre players which did not materialise . But if the team carries on performing like they have the team will be playing to a half empty satadium and unfortunately Lenny will become a despised figure by the support and nobody wants that to happen but if we struggle to stay in second place in the league and continue to have dire performances then the axe will fall .

    I'll ask again.

When have Celtic ever sacked a manager who was a bawhair away from a treble in their first season ? And when have they ever sacked a manager at the beginning of October ?

Perhaps a rookie shouldn't have been put in charge, but your reckoning that "If it wasn't Lennon, he'd have been sacked by now" is a myth 100%. Unless of course you provide some evidence to the contrary.

P.s. I have my doubts over whether Lennon is the man for the job, it's looking increasingly unlikely but I'm not going about making bullshit claims, and abusing him just because it's not working for him.

The difference with someone like Mowbray is that Neil Lennon did have a good season last year.

At Oranbhoy: Padraig's comments really bugged me too. Last year I was accused of being a Hun just because I did not want a rookie manager at our club. That's disgusting behaviour from our support.

You tell me ! Did any of those managers go through what Lenny has.He has spent 10 years of his life at this club and none of those names should even be compared to him.If you had took time to read my post you would see that I agreed he is not doing things right and my main point is Idont want to see him being booed, which believe me will happen from some of this support.Ialso dont want to see him fall into ill health which is also a possibility.Yes,he will resign or be released if we dont win the league, thats for sure, but for now,and the immediate future we must keep backing him to get us out of this situation

    [/QUOTE]

Only a scottish cup from a potential treble against the bankrupt huns a good year? pumped in Europe & losing a league cup final against our greatest rivals?? not to mention bottling the league against ICT.. last year was not a good year if you ask me!

Lets get some perspective here. There is no divine right to anything, simply because we are Celtic. There wasn't in 1888 nor is there today. I support Celtic because I identify with the club, not merely to satisfy some imagined base * for silverware.

Having supported our club thru the huns 9 in a row i acknowledge that... however with the size & expense of our squad we shouldnt be getting the results we are getting!

A dodgy defense aside i actually think we have the squad there to easily win the SPL.. the fact we are stuttering so far behind already.. well the buck stops with the managment!
