Really happy with the players that came in, I hope to see others in the jan window as well since we spent next to nothing of the money we got from the sale of ki the champions league and the real friendly as well! Over all am happy we got a centre half and a forward in

Ecstatic. We've needed a decent CB for a while and although i know nothing about Efe, he is a big * * so thats a good start!
We needed a forward too and i know * all about Miko too! But after reading everyones posts about him he seems really exciting. I mean an £8million rated South American CF on a loan??? That'll do! its no some wee skinny ginger * fae the Conference.

Plus, i expected us to be getting * all....i think we'll win this * champions league! cheers NL and PL:50:

Fairly happy and hoping these new guys do the business (didn't see the point in the keeper though as Zaluska is good back up). But a bit let down as well, we have some profit this year and thought we would have spent a bit more and got someone with CL experience.

3 keepers must be registered for the Champions League, and Cervi is gone now. :50:

Very happy with the window. We cleared out the deadwood, which was clearly needed and tidied up the wage bill, made a good bit of money from the Ki sale and brought in the also much needed Centre Half and Striker.

I honestly haven't seen Ambrose or Miku play so i'm not going to shout from the rooftops about them, but I trust that Lenny, John Park and Lawwell have done their homework and they'll turn out to be fine additions.

Would have loved to have seen wee Russell signed but i'm just glad no-one else signed him, gives us another shot in January possibly. Would also have liked a replacement for Ki but tbh, we already have 4 brilliant CM's in Ledley, Wanyama, Kayal and Brown so not overly bothered about that one.

Overall I think the business done in the window has been brilliant imo, the squad didn't need an overhaul, only a couple of players of quality to compliment what we already have and hopefully we've got them. And i'm pretty excited to find out who the mystery striker will be...

Got to say I'm pleased with the business done, Miku sounds a exciting prospect. Loan with option to buy is a smart move, splashing the money can back fire as we've seen in the last few season Bangura, Rasmussan etc.

Could have done with a winger, why we didn't spend the pennies it would of took to get Tempelton is beyond me.

Smart window all the same glad we haven't just signed players for the sake of it, the opportunity for Watt and McGeough to make there mark this season is still there.

Deadwood removed, centre half and target man acquired, with the promise of one more free agent striker arriving before Monday night. Great to be a Tim at any time, but especially right now :icon_mrgreen::shamrock:

Is it though? I've seen that is the deal with the keeper but not him. Anyone know for a fact if we have a buy option?

Great news. The buy option is probably about £5m though.

I agree, but that's something we don't need to worry about right now. If he turns out to be as good as we think he's going to be and we do well in the CL/EL this season, we might still splash out on him next summer. We have a whole year ahead before we need to even contemplate a permanent deal :50:

Cheers Shane. Just seen it on the website there but it doesn't mention how much for. Bit of a strange one really as you would have to wonder why a La Liga team are letting their top scorer leave on loan.
