That'll be a load of *. All that poster is doing is stating the obvious. We'll no doubt sign two players that haven't been mentioned, and people will proceed to take anything he says in the future as gospel.

At the moment, Finnbogason is the only realistic player that would excite me. But who knows, I'm praying he's not telling lies

Similar to the rumor that was brought up yesterday, I seen on twitter (I know) today that If we make it to the CL, we are certain to sign a CB, CAM and a Striker.

 

That should be the minimum expectation. Again, someone stating the obvious to raise their 'credibility' in the future.

 

I'm not too bothered about another CAM, we've got rogic and commons that could play there with mc geoch and brown who could cover if needed. I'd rather see us get the CB, striker and another LB to push Izzy a bit

 

I heard that the attacking mid in mind is Julien Féret of Stade Rennais but I highly doubt it because he'd be worth a wee bit I would imagine. He got 11 league goals from AM for them.

 

Wouldn't mind another CAM if he's top quality though. That's the word which is going to make us progress: quality. Commons, for me, doesn't cut it in Europe. And even though I like Rogic a lot, I can't see Lennon starting him or even giving him a chance on the big stage. Also I highly, highly doubt he would give that opportunity to McGeouch too.

With Izzy, I'm pretty sure we won't bring in another LB to challenge him. I think this is going to be a good year for him, but if he dips in form again I would like Matthews to play there. Played a stormer against Barca in that position. So I think he's capable enough.

Never heard of him but that sounds decent. Since early last year I've wanted us to sign an experienced play maker. 31 years old tells me he could be the one I was hoping for

Agree about commons. Looks like he's running in treacle recently. I'd hate to see rogic's chances limited though, and I still hope mc geouch can come good.

Hopefull izzy does come back to life again this year, I just think that if he doesn't have an out an out LB to start challenging him he may not push himself as much

 

I know. Common's is Lennon's favorite mind. He's a decent player, but unless he starts performing extremely bad, Rogic won't get a look in. I still want to see more of him, he's an excellent prospect and would love him to flourish in the CL.

With regards to McGeouch, I'm sad to say I don't think he'll be a success here. He was phenomenal against Madrid and after that I couldn't wait to see him integrating into the first team. I was sure he'd be knocking on the first 11 last season. But again, his chances have been extremely limited and when he does get the odd chance Lennon plays him out of his position. A loan for him would do the world of good IMO.
