Was thinking they both might be... just, not a lot of hype about them and I don't know much about the French leagues to be fair.

True. They would be the type of players to just bounce around different teams in that league. Probably end up at Lyon or the PSG bench.

Allessandrini has only started playing in Ligue 1 this season. He will probabaly be there at Rennes for another season then move on to Lyon, Marseille or a team abroad (Newcastle:smiley-laughing002:). Would be quality if we could pick him up though.

Florian Thauvin is a player I like the look of. Signed for Lille from Bastia in January but was loaned back to them. We should try and sign him onloan next season. Quality young winger.

I've got two, but admittedly don't know too much about either other than a few videos and a couple other places.

    Léonard Kweuke (Sparta Prague)

    Younès Belhanda (Montpellier)

Kweuke seems like quite a good strong striker with decent pace. He's currently serving a 12 game ban for breaking a defenders leg in a tackle, someone who's more familiar with him can say whether or not he has form for dodgy tackles. Not the greatest goal scoring record I have to say but who knows what he could be like in the SPL

Belhanda I'm a little less sure of. He's a midfielder/winger who at the start of the season was placed in a more of a playmaker role and has apparently been performing quite well; and in the past he previously played as a defensive midfielder.

Newcastle and Southampton vie for Cheikhou Kouyate

NEWCASTLE and Southampton are both on the trail of Anderlecht’s Cheikhou Kouyate.

    Published: Sun, May 19, 2013

The versatile 23-year-old is ready to leave the Belgian club, having played for them since 2008.

He can play in defence or midfield and scouts from numerous Premier League clubs have travelled to watch him this season.

Arsenal were said to be keen on the Senegal international but their interest has apparently cooled.

Wish we could compete for this guy I feel he is perfect for the defence

Belhanda is a quality player, quite well known actually so I'm surprised you're less sure of him than Kweuke. Unfortunately Belhanda is out of our range. He'll move to a richer team than us, in a better league than us.

Yeah I thought as much regarding Belhanda. I have to admit I only really heard about him just about a month or so ago; I suppose it just goes to show my lack of knowledge about such things.

I was only more certain of Kewuke because I done a bit of research on him, whereas with Belhanda it was just what I've heard from others and a quick glance at the Wikipedia.

Mentioned Kweuke previously, seems like the perfect man to fill the target man role for us.

Belhanda is good but as has been said he is out of our range.

Kouyate would be my choice as a replacement for Wanyama if he left. However, imagine if we could bring in Kouyate and pair him with Victor. Two absolute monsters :50:
I would like to think that we could still go head to head with Southampton and Newcastle, may as well give it a go. Depends on the price.

Dejan Zigon, cover for Forrest, although he's a left winger, he can play both sides. Quite skillful and scored a fair amount of goals, albeit in low level league, but 300,000 maybe.

Mohamed Zidan is a free agent now. 31 but has played at the top level with Dortmund and was in good form with Mainz last year, 7 goals in 12. Would take him here still on a 1 year deal perhaps.

Danish players arny really in vogue at the minute, but Andreas Cornelius is a big powerhouse up front, 25 goals and by the looks of things he could have scored a lot more.

20 years old though, could be a handy signing.

No chance, not anymore. Been linked to a lot of big boys in the Premiership and Bundesliga.

Yeah he seems like he would be a good fit here. I think he would certainly offer us something different than our current strikers.

If Chelsea even allow him to go onloan next season there will be plenty of big clubs in line to take him in better leagues unfortunately.
