    Junior Hoilett still on a free transfer. I'd go offer him a hansom wage since we wont have to pay compinsation and we would definetly make money on him because of his potential.

    Suggested him at least once on here, and many times elsewhere - with v little response. I think we'd have a decent chance of getting hold of him now that Blackburn have been relegated. Wages shouldn't be out of our reach.

    Problem is, we have three very good young prospects at centre-back (four if you count Wanyama as a CB) - Thomas Rogne, Lewis Toshney (who had a blinder of a loan spell at Kilmarnock) and Marcus Fraser. As much as I'd love Hanley here, I wouldn't want another young CB treading on their toes. I'd take him if we absolutely couldn't get an older, more experienced CB who's good enough.

    yes yes yes! Im desperate for us to sign this guy, we have been interested in the past and he still hasnt left Gent. Now we have the chance of CL football we should go for it. Looks a silky wee player from the vids Ive seen, some of his skills are unreal.

    The kind of player that would put "bums on seats"

    edit: Just saw that west Brom are "closing in" on a 2million deal. finger out celtic!

    GMS will be on a free at the end of next season. if we don't sign him this season, hopefully we move for him in Jan. for his own development, he and Russell should probably stay at Dundee Utd for this seaso.

    It'd be good to get him on a pre-contract in January and let him play the rest of the season at United. He'll end up getting snapped up by some other team though or we just won't even bother trying. I hate it when good players come from the SPL and we don't even seem to notice.

    Dos Santos from Spurs, he's desperate for a move away. Also think we should be looking through the squads of Man City, Chelsea etc and seeing if there is anyone not likely to get in the squad. They sign some of the hottest prospects in the world and don't give them a chance. They'd certainly add some quality to our squad for a year or 2!!

    I would be * off if we sign any SPL players. Especially Dundee United as it would be encouraging to see them keep Russell, Mackay Steven etc and challenge us for the title until Christmas anyway because they're a team I have a slight soft spot for. We must aim higher :50:

    That is what I thought too but he isn't their captain anymore and barely gets a game. Has been quoted today as saying he wants to leave and had a dig at Ancelotti

    Id rather we left Mckay Steven atm tbh and then maybe sign him on a free. I dont rate him as highly as others seem to do on here mind you, anytime Ive seen him he has been ineffectual on the game, would he really improve us that much? especially going into european football where we will be focusing a bit more on considering the league is almost guaranteed.

    even if sakho does want to leave I highly doubt he would come to the SPL. His wages will also be very high and alot of quality teams would be interested in taking him.

    If we signed him I would be the happiest man alive mind you...but unfortunately no chance.
