    As for suggestions;

    Del Piero

    Seedorf (nothing confirmed yet on the Botafogo deal)

    Both would walk the spl, be instrumental in Europe and just be great to have around the place in terms of experience, etc...and experience is the one thing we are lacking in - especially with Maj & Loovens gone...we now have a relatively young team!!!

    I suggested Seedorf a while ago and was all but told to bolt he is a quality player who would add experiences to all the young guys not sure of Del Piero though he's a quality player but would he be game for no name talent less defenders kicking the * out him that's what would happen in the spl

    We should be snapping up the following SPL players

    John Daly and Marius Zaliuska

    Both would be got for a pittance and are proven in SPL (our priority)

    Not for me mate, Daly would be another Chris Killen and Zaliuska is no better than what we have, the only SPL player I would like is Russell.

    Daly is a proven SPL goalscorer. His height and eye for goal are exactly what we need. A box player, that's his game.

    ...He's also a tad over-the-hill. We do need a target man with height, but we need him to have more pace than Daly; and we need a higher standard of quality than him.

    As for Zaliukas: he's more than good enough for us at SPL level, and would help our defence improve a bit, imo. Whether he could raise his game enough for the CL is questionable, though. I'd rather spend (just a bit) more on someone surer.
