    Henriksen - £2.5m
    Richard Dunne - £2m
    Mackay-Steven - £1m
    Russell - £1.5m
    Rhodes - £4m

    = -£13m

Sell Juarez and Ki for a combined £10m

That would be fantastic but would want someone more steadier than Richard Dunne, still would be a decent enough signing

    More 'steadier' ??
In my (probably biased) opinion, Dunne on form is one of the best defenders in the world. He's worse than Pique, Kompany, Vidic and Puyol but after that there's not an awful lot better than him. I'd cream myself if we signed him. Natural leader at the back.

I really liked him at City before the money men came in he's been ok at Villa but not really heard much of him this season (maybe he's injured I don't know) would still be a good signing but if we were to bring him in (which I doubt anyway) I'd rather we signed another defender as well

I'd rather be competeing at the top level of the game and winning trophies. He's 27 now so he'll spend the rest of his prime in a footballing backwater. I know he'll be on a lot of money but if he had moved to another bundesliga club he could have scored loads of goals and then moved when he was past his prime.

Barrios has signed for Guangzhou Evergrande F.C. apparently.
Zheng Zhi is the club captain to put it into perspective... Barrios is a * gobshite.

  7. :97: *!

Clearly haven't seen Richard Dunne play. He is one of the steadiest defenders around. Performances for his country like the one against Russia, recently, have confirmed his legend. True rock at the back.

We'll probably never get him, but if we did, I'd be more pleased than signing someone like Robbie Keane, even.

We're desperately in need of a good center half.

This thread is starting to go way off topic so I'll put an end to it now :56:
But that now means that the only striker at Borussia Dortmund is Robert Lewandowski. Should be interesting to see who they sign.

Anyway.. I think Richard Dunne would be an excellent signing for us as he is exactly what we need. A leader at the back who doesn't make stupid * mistakes and isn't always out injured. If we played 5 at the back.. Rogne, Dunne and Mulgrew would be , in the words of RudeBhoy, wankworthy.

Qaulifying for the CL group stage is worth a lot more than £10m. Here is a breakdown of how the money was dished out 2 seasons ago.

Berg has 2 years left on his contract and signed for £10m. He hasn't exactly been brilliant at Hamburg and spent a year on loan at PSV. I'd definitely take him if we could get him for £3m or so but I doubt we could.

To be honest I haven't seen him play so he could be a total dud but people have been making the right noises about him im surprised that paul dixon hasn't been snapped up

I've never seen him play. However, I don't like the idea of paying £3m for a CB who doesn't get a game for Leicester.

I cant see us spending 3 mill on him to be honest if its 3 mill i think we will go for loan but how many times do you see a player struggle at a club then come good at the next one ala hooiveld.
