    Haven't seen him play... But according to wiki he's a centre mid and is 5 ft 6. 5 ft 6 indicates a lack of strength to me. Celtic can't afford to put a weak player in the middle of the park in such a physical league in my opinion...

    imo he and players like him were the reason their was even a question over us finishing in the top 2. If we had played skippy instead of him we might of actually had a chance for the title once keane showed up. But instead we sold skippy thus leaving ourselves without an established striker the next summer. We got hooper so everything worked out but that was a huge risk to take.

    I am of the opposite - would much rather Doyle in my team than Fletcher (who I think is vastly over-rated).

    Ideally you are looking from a pool of 3/4 strikers to choose from that you know can consistently hit the back of the net, Hooper/Stokes/Doyle/Bangura/Samaras.

    We know hooper can, we know stokes can although his form at the tail end was a bit erratic, and recently doyle hasn't been consistent, whether that is because of the team he played in, the position he played or whatever.

    I think we need another consistent goal-scorer who is more of a physical targetman player, Doyle is not that type of player.

    If we paired Skippy with Fortune we would have had a chance or paired Skippy with Sammy. Fortune and Sammy together though? Nobody in the box.

    I am also serious he is one of my fave players not judging on today but over all his control is amazing and general positioning is class I can imagine he would have a positive impact on the young players.

    Also look at how much better than Ljungberg he is if we were willing to take a punt on him why not Seedorf

    Seedorf has been a pipe dream of mine since I was a young lad. Always loved him, ever since he played for Madrid and I had the home top with the pinky/purpley writing. I still think he would be some signing for us.

    Old dear bought me it and I thought I was the dugs baws, it came in a presentation box and everything.

    Marcin Kaminski 20 year old Polish centerhalf included in their euro squad. Played the most games of any of Lech Poznan's players this year. We should definitely keep an eye on him, he has a bright future.
