  1. I know we've heard it all before, but James McFadden will be a free agent again in the summer.

Wouldn't be first choice obviously with Forrest and Commons but would be great back up

  2. pretty expensive back up but mate. I always liked McFadden but think he just wants to stay down south and make his good wage (even if he isn't playing much.)

There is a guy just released from Juve, Del Piero I believe. Might not be bad for a season! :50:

  3. Hitzelsperger got released from Wolfsburg!

  4. Good player, but we really don't need him. We already have alot of quality midfield players, we don't need to improve in that area

  5. Didnt want McFadden last year so I certainly dont this year. Plus im pretty sure we * him over or he * us about?

  6. Can he play in the hole?

  7. Bas Dost, Dmitri Bulykin, Marcus_Berg, Suk Hyun-Jun, Kim Shin Wook.

  8. I really think we need a creative player, preferably in the attacking midfield position role just behind the front two (or one in european formation). Agreed two centre backs n a keeper for the spl but if we want to progress in europe then this position is vital. Commons is too hot n cold n have no back up (Ki doesn't cut it even if he stays... Saying that, in Europe, commons I don't think is good enough)

Player in our reach are Dorans, McCormack, and (*, I hate myself for saying it...) Goodwillie.

  9. Agree we should be looking at Pogrebnyak and Dost especially (but also Berg and Hitzlsperger).

I would add Nolan Roux (though he only signed for Lille in January) and Jon Daly to the list of target men we should be pursuing. Daly might seem like a bit of a random one (especially given his age), but scoring 21 goals from 42 appearances is impressive. He'd get better service at Celtic too. Couldn't hurt to have him as another option.

  10. Agreed. Daly has had a good season but I do think there is better out there. Put it this way... I think Celtic should be buying players that would be in the frame for a move to the EPL in a season or two, Daly for me is a decent Championship class.

When u look at our best players I think most would agree that they would warrant interest from premiership teams. Even our top squad players like Ki, McCourt (as mush as I luv the *) and even dare I say it, Kayal would flourish in the Championship but I just think we should be looking at EPL class diamonds on the in the rough.

Maybe another half a season with Dundee Utd and we will see Daly as a must buy but for me, not at the moment

  11. Nobody on here want Del Piero? Maybe the legs have gone a wee bit but the quality is still there. Even at 37 he would rip the SPL apart. Also played a big part in Juventus Serie A campaign plus his experience would be invaluable. Personally, I hope Lawell and Lennon try their best to sign him!

  12. In terms of CBs, has anyone considered Steven Taylor (once he returns from injury)?

  13. What he does behind closed doors is none of our buisness

  14. :87::56::56:

  15. cant believe people on here wanting us to sign jon daly. Hes utter gash, chris killen mark ll fs, also dont need or want david goodwillie. Would defo take Grant Holt though

  16. Always liked Marcus Berg but hes not seemed to cut it since he left Sweeden and hes 25 now isnt as if he is still a young player and coming through. Shame thought he would be a machine by now, think i would give him a miss now.

  17. he was great in his first stint in holland too.

  18. Marcus Berg is an average player. Hyped up to * after a decent Euro U21 campaign and then was utter * in Germany.

    Would rather have Stokes.
