sutton would be another daryl murphy imo, there are plenty of better strikers who can be had on the cheap if we look further afield.

 

would be an amazing signing, we don't really need to strengthen the wings but if we could bring him in it would improve us immensly. I watched him against Ajax a few years ago and he absolutely ran the show, haven't seen much of him since but he looked immense. Sadly I think he may be out of our price range as his current team bought him for close to 2 million euros and that was when he was relatively unknown.

we've held our own in Europe against teams with similar budgets/playing squads. We beat Rennes who are a top team, I know they are no spurs but still, also we've held our own against Atletico who have similar calibre of players. Udinese are top of Seria A and could easily have beaten Arsenal if the breaks had gone their way so I'll be interested to see how we handle them. I wouldn't be so down on our team, I don't think we would beat spurs but I dont think we'd get slaughtered either.

 

Fuller's not celtic class, plus he's old. I'd rather we went for someone younger who scores more goals.

Sahar would be good, doesn't seem like he can hack it in a big league but we don't play in a big league so that shouldn't matter, I'd be pleased if we signed him.

 

I think Fuller could do a job, he would ask for too much money though.

 

I think he is Celtic class, he would be a great player to bring off the bench, he's strong and a target man, a different option. I agree about his age though

he's only ever reached double figures in goals four times in his career, I agree that he would be something different but I think we could do better if we are looking for a targetman, I would prefer Diarawa or Bas dost although Dost is probably a pipe dream.

 

No doubt Diawara and Dost would be better but I just have that feeling that neither will come to us, I hate to be the source of negativity but just like previous deals, it just might all fall together. And he only got double figures 4 times in his career? That may be true but he is sure decent enough for SPL standard, and he is not getting a game at Stoke which only enhances our chance of getting him.

 

he has spent most of his career in the championship, so reaching double figures four times is no achievement, I'd rather we sent our scouts out a bit further afield and found someone who is a more proven goalscorer.

 

I would rather get a proven goalscorer like Diawara too, but I was just suggesting other names if he does not come.
