That was mentioned a few weeks ago in a paper. Dont see the point when we've got some great youngsters of our own to bleed in why take someone else's?

Well if they would improve our first team I would take them for a year such as Forster but I dont think would be much of an improvement on Forrest, Commons, Paddy, McGeogch or even George. He seems to be one of those players that is more hype than ability.

Why are we even considering David Templeton when we have the likes of James Forrest??

I remember seeing that guy playing for Arsenal during pre season and he looked really good to me, if it was loan with an option to buy I'd go for it.

McArthur is nowhere near good enough for us.

Ciaran Clark at Villa? Maybe a bit of a long shot but worth a punt

Sorry mike mate, but McArthur is a good hard midfielder in my opinion, certainly nowhere as good as McCarthy, but he is a very decent player

GAIS in Sweden. Double what our £2.2M striker got in a better team.

Petrov been put up for sale apparently, would love him back but could see him going to Sunderland with Martin O'Neill.

Also Cuellar and Ireland have as well. Cuellar's a good defender imo, better than what we have at the moment, but his injuries would be a worry and he played for the huns, not sure if he would join us but I would take him. Wouldn't go near Ireland though, good player but seems a bit of a * :56:

Would have loved big Pavlyuchenko, he's seemingly been offered to QPR for £8m..... well out of our price range unfortunately :54:

Would take Ireland and Petrov but no chance any of them. We don't really need them anyway.

Aye thats what I was thinking as well mate, don't really need them but I'd love Petrov back. Never know if we end up selling Ki, Kayal ect.... we will need replacements. Not 'gonna happen but would be great to see Stan back!

I would have taken Ireland when he was performing well for Man City but he hasn't looked great at Aston Villa.

Stan said a few years back he'd love to play for us again so you never know. And personally I'd love him back

    Just found this article: http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport...ps-petrov-keen-on-all-things-celtic-1.1009433

Shouldn't cost too much maybe £3m or so? Unless he is on ridiculous wages, it could happen. :50:

As I said we could very well sell the likes of Ki in January and Stan would give us the experience and quality we need imo!

I doubt we would buy Stan, center midfield is our strongest position and Stan has zero resale value.

I think anyone who watched the Blackpool v Southampton game will agree with me when I suggest Bialkowski?
