    and if we bought mcarthy over ki then the club would have lost out on revenue etc, i wouldnt be suprised if the merchandise and tv deals etc in south korea have paid ki's fee.

    i don't think TM had a choice of McCarthy or Ki. i think the club just went for Ki.

    as i recall it, Ki was scouted under Strachan and TM chose to move for him when he took the hot seat.

    Ki was TM's only signing worth of note. such a poor manager for us.

    When Mowbray was asked about the possibility of signing McCarthy & Fletcher, 2 players we were targeting before he came in, he said that neither at that time was good enough to play for Celtic and they had to go elsewhere and get better first.

    seriously doubt we're going after John Sutton. wouldn't mind him in the Summer but i'm glad it was a lapse in judgement on my part.

    good SPL player but we need better.

    i got told last nite he was at parkhead for talks 100 per cent true,i wish it wasnt true is this the target man we crave a quality striker,this would suit celtic as he can poss join for nothing in jan and low wages ticks all the boards boxes but not me,not unless someone else as well.could be celtic are keeping there options open in case other deals fall thro

    Just seen , Trezeguet terminated his own contract after being sidelined for most of the season with an injury. He'd just take up wages and would play the odd 20 mins.
