Because he has been overrated and * at every club he has played at apart from Arsenal.

He's so * that he scored 26 goals in 42 apps for Barcelona the year they won EVERY competition available to them. Also in total for Barcelona he scored 50 goals in 120 apps, even thought he was more played on the left hand side with barca in a front 3 of

Henry Eto'o Messi​

Also he scored 15 goals in 29 apps for NYRB last season. Anything but overrated and * after Arsenal...

 

Never going to happen. We couldn't even afford Bolo Zenden.

 

Cicumstancial stats. He scored the majority of his goals against Spanish cup opposition as well as shittier La Liga and European teams.

Henry's commecial draw would all but pay for the majority of the costs of having him for a short period.

We managed to fork out 65k for Keane who brought little commecial interest. I am sure if they thought it was worth it, they would do it

Henry will be on a lot more than 65k though. Guess work but I would say 100k+.

Absolutely loved Henry when he played for Arsenal, one of the best strikers ever. We would be made to say no.

Didn't like what he done against Ireland, but, lets be serious if Stokes does it next month in the Old Firm not a soul will be complaining. I'm sure Keano would of done the exact same to put Ireland into thee World Cup finals. All is forgiven from this Tim.

 

I would imagine 65k a week is probably roughly what he is on at NY plus a good share of his commercial draw. I think its the type of thing I see us trying to pull off to be honest and with Lennon saying he fancies a new striker i wouldnt be surprised if they use it as a media ploy to get the fans wet.

Also, can you imagine henry away to ICT. I cant and if he did, he would get booted up and down the park.

 

According to Forbes he's the 6th highest paid footballer(Possibly including endorsements).

I would say he is definitely on higher than 65k a week. Like Becks he will probably be getting something like 50% of all merch sales as well.
