I'll be distraught if we sign that pig Goodwillie. He will bring the name of the club down.

Friedburg?! That * was meant to be amazing. Surely we could have wrestled him from Friedburd. In Lenny I trust though.

Would take a gamble on anton ferdinand as sunderland seem to be spending big and will be looking to reduce their squad

doubt we'll sign another cb as lennon sees wanyama as a cb and weve signed kelvin wilson.

We need a goalkeeper, a target man and even though we've already got in k.wilson and wanyamana, I still feel we need an experienced centre back.

Goalkeeper- I'd love to see forster back. I know he isn't everones favourite but he's still young and has bags of potential.

Centreback- robert huth! He would be brilliant in the spl and would be solid for europe.

Targetman- I've made a list of 5 players I think we should sign in order of my preference...
1) N'doye from copenhagen. Big strong striker who's been banging in the goals lately. Probably out of our price range though.
2) Zigic from birmingham. Very tall target man who would walk the spl. Would be great to have a man of his size, quality and experience up front. We'd most likely be beaten to him by a spanish club though.
3) Zamora from fulham. Quality striker who chips in with his fair few goals and assists.
4) Bulykin from anderlecht. Found his goalscoring touch while out on loan last season.
5) N'gog from liverpool. I know ill get shot down for this one but he's young, very experienced for his age and I think lenny could get the best out of the big man.

Thoughts bhoys and ghirls? Hail, hail!

N'Doye, Zigic, Zamora, Bulykin and N'Gog are all well out of our price range.

I reckon we need a striker and a goal keeper, then our summer business should be done. Possibly another CB but when you think we do have quite a few centre backs now, even though they aren't the greatest. Start off we have Hooiveld and Loovens, Loovens needs to go and haven't seen enough of Hooiveld, but wouldnt be too fussed if he went. So, that leaves us with Wanyama, Wilson, Majstorovic and Rogne, Mulgrew is also good at CB so, I think we now have that covered.

Goalkeeper: I would take back Forster, as you said not everyones favourite, but at £2m I would find it hard to find another good young 'keeper that is proven he is good in the SPL. Europe is another matter, whether he would be good enough for that, remains to be seen. Would prefer a more experienced 'keeper but certainly wouldn't be against Forster returning.

Centre Back: As I said before don't think we need another CB, but Huth would definitely not come here, would cost way too much, was solid for Stoke, last year, but for the money players are going for down there, he is way out of our price range. Honestly, I think they could look for £8-10m!

Strikers:
1) I mentioned N'Doye before but was told his fee is about £8m so no chance of us getting him, great player though

2) Zigic has been discussed here, in recent pages, getting on a bit and will command a big wage, I personally wouldn't want him

3) Just like Huth, with the amount of money players down in England are going for, we cant afford Zamora, I dont actually think hes that good either tbh

4) Haven't seen any of Bulykin, but heard he scored a lot last season, seen reports he would cost a lot of money, so again out of our price range.

5) Maybe a loan for N'Gog could be possible but never on a permanent basis. Imo, there are better players out there as well.

I saw someone post his name earlier but sandomierski is going to be the next great polish keeper if we can afford him we should definitely try and sign him up

If we don't get Forster or Given (looks like hes going to Aston Villa) I would like to see Adam Federici from Reading, Wolves and Wigan are interested in him for £2m:

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...s-and-Wigan-chase-Readings-Adam-Federici.html

£2m would be a steal, quality keeper imo.

or even the second keeper at Reading, I have mentioned him before Alex McCarthy, 21 year old, 6ft 4" was amazing against Everton and Man City in the FA cup

says he wants first team football this season either at Reading or another club, could be worth a punt?

And for our striker I would go with, as I mentioned before Henri Bienvenu, again only £2m, then I think we are sorted.

Just a few vids on him, scored the second goal against Spurs :50: Scored 16 goals last season definitely worth looking at, for £2m, reminds me of Eto'o  :56:

So, thats Federici/McCarthy and Bienvenu, for me :50:

Just one more player that interests me, Adam Le Fondre. Got a great scoring record, albeit not being tested at a higher level than the English League 2, but anyone else reckon he'd be worth coming here, I think he would be great with Hooper up front!

Just an idea on the goals he scores, some headers, penalties, tap-ins, wonder goals. I think he has the talent and with better players around him, who's to say he wouldn't bag a lot more goals here than what he does for Rotherham, and lets face it the standard of some of the SPL teams are probably on par with some English League 2 teams :56: But, in all seriousness, imo he could do a great job for us, even in Europe, reminds me of a McDonald type player

What do you think?

Him and Shechter are two previous targets of ours that have looked class and gone to average sides for low prices!

I would have loved him or Shechter even though he was an absolute headcase!

No chance, Bristol just rejected a £4.5m bid from Leicester.
