    we should have went for Orlando engelaar before he went to psv. think we should go for kevin kuranyi, dont know how feasible that is though. or a cheeky bid for luis garcia

    i'd personally go for Kevin Davis at bolton, knows where the goal is and would score bags in the SPL i know he's the wrong side of 30 but it would give us time to blood hutchinson (whom i think will be a very good player for us).

    Also a player who i've always liked is arca from middlesbrough.

    Ross McCormack would be a good buy for us ( he can be cleansed from his sins) but not sure what sort of price he'd go for and he could be a little to much like skippy

    Benjani who isnt needed , i would take a gamble on pennant since naka is gone and were short of gd crossing ability on the wings , alot of the rumours from parkhead are from before tony mowbary even joined im sure he wont have the club pick his men so alot of these are all false .... if we could land fie or donovan despite the advancing years they would be a hit in the spl and are proven strikers , we need to dispose of jan immedietly and bring in a target man to play alongside skippybut in my eyes celtics main problem has always been their defence in the champions league it shows the most they are just simply not good enough under oneill we were solid from the back going forward wish we had that solidarity now .

    I would go for that fella A Trialist,not a week goes by without him finding the back of the net, reckon we could pick him up for pennies, Geoff Stelling rates him highly, might be worth a wee gamble!:icon_mrgreen:

    We NEED to start showin we actually some ambition and act like a club with the stature & history we have!

    we all know we need a various of positions greatly improved! -

    1st players out - most of us agree with balde, m.brown, naylor, hartley, JVOH & sammy!...but i'd like to add flood, robson, wilson & McManus to that list too...

    and give caddis & mizuno a chance on the bench b4 working them up to the last 10-15mins of a game & give them experience that way!

    But to the subject in hand player wise i still think the best players would to be go for the stars of the last euro 21's and that was the dutch!...yes theyre preformances won them move to bigger clubs but all apart from 1* i am about to mention hasnt had more than 16 apperarences for the club last season(and most of them where as subs! so they will have a good possibiltiy of them and/or the club looking for them to move on)...ok here goes:-

    R.Drenthe (Real Madrid-15 apps) - lb or l.mid
    * U.Emanuelson (Ajax-32 apps) lb or l.mid
    H.Maduro (Valencia-13 apps) - cb or d.mid

    also - ruben de la red! (real madrid-9 apps) d.mid - this guys is class!

    or as another choice for cb to replace mick huth or even metzelder(fink that 1 might be askin too much but he cant get a game for madrid,but is pals with hinkel but also the fact madrid are looking to get as much money back as they can bcos of signing ronaldo and kaka cheaky bids for metzelder,de la red & drenthe might be worth it!)...would love to c big obafemi martins too but am not sure but id imagine he's on stupid wages bcos iv heard newcastle would accept around 5mil for him! or Hleb as barca want shot of him!

    and the rest we know about mccarthy & janko! -really hope fletcher goes to burnley & fortune to hull cos quite simple theyre not good enough!!!

    what u think?

    Good post, some top suggestions in there. Would especially like to see De La Red, maduro & Drenthe. Not sure about Fletcher though, I think he could do a job for us in the league.
