the 2 castros from real betis 1 is a gk and the other a striker gk is second choice but looks like he has bags of talent and the striker has scored 16 goals this season and has brilliant technique and a bit of pace dont no if they would come cheap coz betis are likely to get promoted but worth a shot

nigel hasselbaink? he looks good i really think he,s a quality wee player wasted at hamilton electric and quite skillfull handful for defenders not sure about his scoring ratio though does anyone else rate him?

 

id say ur right IMO. He's a decent enough player and gets the odd special goal but nothing special.

 

Adam Hammill not the first time i have said it excellent player and would be a steal at 500k , just have to see off Wovles and Blackpool .

Think we need someone with a bit more physical presence up front. Not so much athleticism/pace or agility, but simply good in the air. Guna give it some thought.

Petrov is more realistic than perhaps it was 6 month ago because Lenny is at the helm along with some of his former team mates.

exactly none of our strikers are good in the air. so theres no point in having wingers crossing the ball in for the head. sammys alrite i suppose when he can be arsed and his hair isnt getting in the way.

Robbie Keane not available for loan

Do you guys think there is any chance we could sign Robbie Keane permanently?

Tottenham have today confirmed there is no chance Keane would be allowed to leave on loan and that they want a permanent transfer. This rules out most of the Premiership clubs interested in him and means we could have a chance. This would of course depend on whether we could negotiate a lower fee or a staggered payment option however and whether he would take a wage cut. Due to his love of the club and desire to play I think this could be feasible. The board however would have to sanction a move and his number 7 jersey already having been given away so this might not be a go.

His goalscoring record here, the fact that he has worked with Lennon last season, our desperate need for a striker who can score goals in the SPL and the commercial opportunities with his shirt sales mean that this would be a great move for the club. In CL qualifiers his presence would also guarantee us a much greater chance.
