this will sound stupid but with our current striker situation i would approach Kris Boyd, if hes avalible on a free he is a proven scorer in the spl and can play the loan striker role when needed.

I know hes an ex hun but that lines been crossed many times in the past and tbh will be crossed many times to come.

I think Clint Dempsey would be * hot for us. May have to pay a bit for him though.

 

He can't play the lone striker role at all well. He ends up coming off after 20 minutes cos he's knackered and needs a pie.

He's a 'right place at the right time' type of player and never does much in the way of build up play.

I suggested him a long time ago. Definently think he would be a good signing.

 

If we are looking at championship strikers, I would like to see us go for that argentine striker that we were linked to in the summer Luciano Becchio. he would be a good addition I think.

 

Signed a new 3year deal so would not come cheap.
