He certainly showed potential (albeit he was a bit erratic) when he was at Motherwell, but I’ve got no idea how he’s progressed since he left.

One I would be very interested in at Wigan though is Antonee Robinson, their left back. Only 22 and already capped by the USA.

Hladkey in Gordon out would be great business but we still need an undisputed number one

Aye Hladky would be a great second/third choice but no chance should be our number one

The Copenhagen keeper Johnsson could be a shout. He was excellent against us and surely wouldn’t cost too much.

I'd take barkas if the fee of 5mill is accurate, good international goalkeeper coming into his prime and would have a decent resale value.

I'd love another Greek player at Celtic, but personally I can't say I've ever saw a Greek goalie that's caught my eye, always seemed too erratic to me.

Used to loved signing Nikopolidis (because of his grey hair, lol) on PES but always found him full of mistakes in real life for Olympiakos, and he got a Euro Champ winners medal. And tbh there ain't been anyone out the sticks over there that I've thought, oh yeah.

I know he played against us but his defence in front of us just snuffed us.

I'd take him at that price still holding out hope of Forster signing

We would wanna act quick with barkas because if Leeds are interested it's premier League football for him, and although I'm not comparing us with Leeds, we have to be realistic of how the prem is seen by the majority of players

If Forster clearly signals his intent to fight for the No. 1 spot at Southampton, then there are only 2 affordable keepers who would even come close to his ability, based on their World Cup showing.

Alireza Beiranvand (Iran) and Jo Hyeon- woo (South Korea).

I was more impressed by their centre half Ikonomou and the boy who played upfront Livaja, he was one of those players that was a nuisance but also had some quality play about him and despite not being the biggest could hold the ball up well. I don’t really remember much about Barkas.

Good news. Already said on here that’s who I’d like as he’s fairly similar to FF. I think £5m is what we were prepared to pay for Forster so the money is there.
