Would have liked us to take a chance on Larsson but £4m is too much. We should have tried when he was breaking through at 17.

 

What makes you say 4M is too much? It’s known Lennon is keen on a 4th striker, we have two imposing types, we have Griff entering in his prime years. I’d say 4 is a decent sum considering his current goal return, lineage, not to mention his Sweden Unders and senior exposure. Not to mention the default shirt sales would be phenomenal, I’d dare say it’d help shift that berry chevron 3rd kit if they offered free printing.

Would be a shrewd investment!

 

He's not done enough to justify us paying £4m. We have positions needing strengthened before we spend £4m on another striker.

Last I heard of him he wasn't all that great.

Would have loved to have seen him at Celtic when he was still under 20 and tried to develop him, but never have I known him to be worth that much.

Has he seriously stepped up his game in the last 18months? That sort of money to his club must be massive.



IF, he does well in Russia for Spartak and is going for 4million now, that's him priced out of signing for us I would imagine.

A decent season or two there and with his name, clubs in Europe will be falling over to sign him. His value could easily get to double figures.

Larsson seems to be quite poorly advised in his career. Shouldn't be moving at this stage. He is halfway through his first good season of his career and is trying to move again. He needs to spend a couple of good years at the one club before moving.

 

I'd take him even if it only meant we get to see his dads face every game. Probably wouldn't even watch the game. Would end up a one direction concert. Bunch of girly grown up men screaming his name all high pitched * who scores, long as he looks in your general direction and you get to fake a faint to prove your the biggest larsson fan.

 

Difference is he looks like the sort of player with the athletic qualities, strength and conditioning, ultra-fitness you need for European football.
I think it's a great move for him and a really big step up in class. I also think he can handle it now, whereas before maybe his attitude wasn't right.
Maybe in a few years we'll see him in the hoops.

 

I know he's a horrible wee hun rat... but would anyone be interested in Kent? Apparently available for £7m... if we sold Sinclair he wouldn't be a bad replacement

 

No chance. We made him look good due to how poor Lustig and Boyata were.

We could do much better for that sort of money. Johnston * all over him stats wise.

We are much better than them in attack. I reckon he would be much better for us than he was for them. I do agree we could probably get better for £7m. Pione Sisto is only valued at £7m on transfermarket and he would be the absolute ideal LW to have.

 

Kent isnt a good player. Last season was the best of his career and he scored 6 goals and had a few assists overall playing with the second best team in the league. He has been overhyped because he played well in a couple games against us. Should also have been sent of in one of the games against us. He went missing for most of the season.

 

Admittedly I've only seen him on a few occasions but to me he looks all flash with little end product. For that sort of money you'd want a guy who would help us get to the next level in Europe.
