    Thought he was 35+ but is only 30. He has some shot on him and think his passing his quite good as well. Not the quickest so probably quite a similar player to Commons.

    Martin Caceres is still a free agent. Only 29. Can he not play at right back as well?

    I would have rathered Calum Paterson from Hearts than Gamboa tbh. Good player, getting picked for the national side.

    The US doesn't pay wages any higher than what they've made previously. Players like Kaka or Giovinco make what they would in Europe. I seriously have no idea how this myth keeps going. Must still be that erroneous report about Beckham making 25m/year when he actually made less than what he was getting at Real Madrid. It's a tightly managed league with a suffocating salary cap.

    I almost sat that out like a fishing rod. Every single time someone mentions the MLS you are the white knight. :56:

    If you think Pirlo, Villa and Lampard have moved to NYC on crumbs you are deluding yourself. It's a better league than it ever has been but it's also a nice retirement home for big name players.
