McCarthy would be monstrous for us in my opinion. Imagine him back in Scotland alone? You'd see him being more box to box then probably and more of a goal threat than he's been in England for a while..

No chance they'd sell on the cheap. Barry is almost finished and who else do they really have sitting? He's a minimum 15 million player in that market, at his worst. Probably 25 roughly at his best.... Genuinely..

We've had scouts at Benfica games for yonks without signing anyone I'm sure lol.

 

I would hazard a guess that mccarthy would be valued at nearer 10 mill even with the dip in form.

So easy to say we have a major signing in the pipeline, almost win win for these people when we're qualifying for CL. If we don't qualify it'll be 'it was subject to qualifying', if we do qualify we'll likely sign somebody half decent.
