Don't know if you could say he's past it. He hasn't really tried enough to be able to say if he is or not.

His attitude is all wrong. He's a bigger * than balotelli and if Rodgers couldn't get through to him then there is no chance of turning boateng round

Possibly a replacement for Johansen if he leaves

    Dockal is different to Sinclair.

    Cracking player though.

    Suggested him a couple times.

His hold up play seems excellent and he has pace, power and finishing ability. Talking £6-8m though you'd imagine.

We could have signed him and Elyounoussi for a combined fee of roughly £7 million.

Exactly the sort of players we should be after. Young, bags of ability and potential, relatively cheap (considering their quality) and they'd eventually have made us millions.

He looks good to me, box to box goal scoring midfielder with the sort of drive we need!

He's scored a lot of goals in European competitions too! :50:

He'd be an excellent signing mate. Very versatile.

Can't see it however and won't get my hopes up over a random tweet! The type we should be targeting though for sure. Could probably get him and Kuljovic for the same combined fee as what Villa are asking for Sinclair.

Another thing is..................he can take a cracking set piece. :56:

Has there ever been even the slightest whisper we were in for Sisto or Elyounoussi?

Folk go on about both as if we've been trumped to a signing when it's all hypothetical Football Manager material :56:

Elyounoussi we were reportedly in for.

Sisto, no, that's why this is the suggestions thread.

There was a rumour we were looking at Sisto as well.

Lets be honest, we probably were. All the times we went and scouted Erik and he didn't also pop up as being of interest?

It is more the fact that you can get guys like that, and this Kuljovic for small fees when down south you are having to play hard ball with teams like Villa over guys like Sinclair who haven't found form in 4 or 5 years. Different leagues and styles granted but we should be looking to stay clear of England, for the most part.

It's a shame. They bot fit the profile of player we should be aiming for, as you say.

Plus, they would seriously sharpen us up in the final third - which we badly need.

Most certainly, the English market doesn't represent value for money. Not to mention the inflated wages we would have to pay.

Would make sense. Rotherham were after him before we signed him, and with Alan Stubss having managed him before...

We all know Ambrose is an embarrassment mate. However, I really can't see Boateng being the type of player who'd succeed here. The problem isn't his talent, he was great for Milan a few years ago but he * people off at Tottenham, coaches said he was a nightmare off the park and didn't look after himself - hardly the type of player who'd do well in Glasgow. Also, at the World Cup in 2014 with Ghana he and Muntari were sent home for insulting the coaching staff, * hate players like that.

He's officially signed for Las Palmas anyway and good luck to them, they'll need it with him.
