    Think I read somewhere around 8-10m

    When my spurs supporting mate heard there was interest from a Scottish club he assumed them and not us cos he doesn't rate him that much.

    Personally I'd prefer bentaleb

    Crazy how they could sell Mason, Bentaleb and Carroll for probably about £30m combined and they don't even play any of them regularly. Could go out and then spend that on one quality addition.

    Just thinking there, although I don't like entirely shopping in England if we were to do so, out of players we were linked with, this team would be excellent under Rodgers, IMO:

    Gordon

    Lustig Toure Sviatchenko

    Carroll Chalobah McGregor

    Roberts Sinclair

    Dembele Bamford     ​

    Yes I am aware Griffiths isn't there but it is just an example of how some of these players could help us. Roberts and Sinclair obviously pushed out wide, incredibly attacking but * it. Would be brilliant to watch at home.

    Probably right.

    However it is not far off what we have been playing in friendlies. That is a 3-5-2, I just couldn't get it to shape up properly.

    We have been playing Roberts as part of it with Forrest the other side, Sinclair would take that up a notch.

    Chalobah would sit back in as a 4th defender essentially.

    yeah, just with that formation and in particular the personnel I'd worry about us getting exposed down the wings - Sinclair's and particularly Roberts' strengths on the football pitch are not defensive. Haven't seen us linked with Tom Carroll at all though?

    I'd not be too worried at home domestically as I think that even if we did concede we'd score a * tonne with that side. Especially if Griffiths was in it somehow as well.

    With Chalobah being defensive minded as well he could just sit with that 4 and allow everyone else to attack, attack, attack:smiley-laughing002:


    We were mentioned with Carroll immediately after Rodgers signed. Nothing in it though but was just an example. I think we need a type like him.

    Caught the second half of the AS Trencin v Legia game last night and this wee guy stood out a mile. He's only 17 and every time he got the ball he got taken out after skinning 2 or 3 players. The referee never gave him a free-kick all night man.

    I watched the second half as well and he is a proper wee tricky *. He likes a dive though. Matus Bero from them was linked with us a while back. Both would be better options than some of the * we've got.

    Also saw the Copenhagen game, and Thomas Delaney impresses me everytime I watch him. Wish we'd stick a bid in.
